Kevin Wright (Invested Faith) to discuss their respective experience in Board and Advisory Council formations and to share their perspectives on what faith-rooted founders can do to attract this talent and expertise to their teams.
About the Panelists
Mitali Dhar
Mitali Dhar (Code for Fun, Sympara) is a business leader with 20+ years of experience in the tech industry in the US in various leadership roles across business development, people operations, and product management. Her 15-year career at Google has spanned roles in People Operations (HR) where she worked with executives responsible for Google’s largest revenue business to implement programs in talent development, leadership recruiting, organizational design, and team culture and Global Product Partnerships where she led business development teams that enabled the launch of many Google products including Google Assistant, Search, Android, Maps and Shopping.
Prior to Google, she was a Product Manager at a fintech startup, Yodlee (acquired by Envestnet), and a business analyst at a strategy consulting firm, Mitchell Madison Group. Mitali holds two bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Management Science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently lives in Palo Alto with her husband and 2 boys.
Rev. Kevin Wright
Kevin Wright (Invested Faith) is the Chief Growth Officer at Urban Arts, a non-profit that provides young people with educational programs rooted in the arts and technology that help them pursue their post-secondary and career goals. He has over fifteen years of experience working in a variety of churches, educational institutions, and non-profits. Kevin also serves on the advisory committee for Invested Faith, a fund that receives the assets of institutions and individuals and offers small, unrestricted grants to faith-rooted social entrepreneurs building businesses that are changing unjust systems. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
Rachel Littman
Rachel Littman (Yale Alumni Non-Profit Alliance, Clal) is the Executive Director of the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance (YANA) and the President of the Yale Club of Houston. She worked for several years as a Wall Street corporate finance attorney before turning her attention to higher education and nonprofit governance. Rachel worked as the Assistant Dean for Career Development at Pace Law School and served as the chair of the Board of Trustees of Moses Brown School, an independent K-12 Quaker school in Providence, RI. Rachel also focuses on matters related to racial and socioeconomic inequities in access to and success in education through her research platform website, www.SeeTheGaps.org.
