

Rev. Dr. Zaria Davis
Dr. Zaria Davis is a spiritual care provider, educator, and advocate. She completed her MDiv in August 2023 and is completing her ordination with the UCC. Zaria holds a DSW from Capella University, MSW from the University of Cincinnati, and BA in Sociology from Wilberforce University.
Zaria is certified in MH First Aid, is a certified reiki practitioner, and is trained in restorative practitioner and facilitating healing circles. Dr. Davis has facilitated discussions and panels on post-incarceration syndrome and serves as an Equity Champion. Zaria provides coaching, consulting, facilitation, and public speaking engagements through New Direction Coaching & Consulting, LLC. New Direction focuses on leadership development and supports nonprofit and community organizations. Dr. Davis has served on the UnlockHigherEd Steering Committee and Ed Trust's Justice Fellows Advisory Board and serves as a Subject Matter Expert with Jamii Sisterhood and TeamBurdeen.
Dr. Davis graduated from JLUSA’s Leading with Conviction, Community Leaders Institute, Leadership Cincinnati, and Willie’s Warriors. She’s currently in the Nollau Leadership Cohort and Tri-Fatih Growing Together Cohort and serves on the board for ReNforce and the Robert O'Neal Multicultural Art Center. She’s the recipient of the Faith Freedom Life Philanthropy Award, Restored Citizen Award, and the Mary Ivers Success Award.
